Fleas and ticks are particularly irritating insects, causing discomfort and disease to not only the family pet but to the human occupants as well. A significant amount of preparation work will have to be done by the homeowner to allow are treatment to be most effective. All clothing must be laundered in hot water, dried, bagged and kept off premise. Stock up on vacuum bags, because daily vacuuming will be necessary. An initial treatment will consist of a complete fan spray of the house. All occupants will have to vacate the premise for a few hours after treatment. A follow-up treatment 10-14 days later will be necessary to make sure to kill all stages of the insect from larvae to adult. After the second treatment a limited warrantee is provided by Post Exterminating. With the increase of world travel, the United States has seen an explosion in bedbug infestations. Bedbugs are particular tenacious, require a significant prep by the homeowner, and at least two services by the pest control technician.
